The beach is only 200 meters away, while the center of Lignano Pineta is just 1 km and easily reachable on foot or by bicycle. The lively center of Lignano Sabbiadoro, with its shops, restaurants and bars, is about 5 km away and can be reached by bike, bus (with a stop in front of the hotel) or taxi, which can be arranged at the reception.
The hotel is also well connected for those traveling by train: the nearest railway station is Latisana, 20 km away, with buses stopping directly in front of the hotel.
Nearby attractions include Punta Verde Zoo Park (2 km), the Aquasplash water park (4 km) and the “Guido Teghil” Municipal Stadium (3 km), which hosts events and concerts. Within minutes by bike, you can explore cycling paths through the pine forest, connecting the various areas of Lignano and reaching Bibione via the ferry on the Tagliamento River.
The location of Hotel Smeraldo also makes it an excellent starting point for day trips to cultural and artistic cities such as Venice (with the islands of Murano and Burano), Trieste (with the famous Postojna Caves) and along the Tagliamento River, all easily accessible by car.
